	Weather Links Enjoying the waters of the Long Island Sound by boat is a large part of the lifestyle of many Shore Acres residents. We are privileged to be able to cast off from the beautiful Mamaroneck Harbor area and navigate toward harbors around Connecticut, Long Island and points beyond. Rights to our docks and moorings are a very attractive reason for buying a home in our community, and they are the reason many people live in Shore Acres for years and years. The boats on our docks and moorings range in size from 13 to 45 feet. They consist of both sailing and motor vessels. There are docks for dingys and several racks that store resident's colorful collection of kayaks.
